Looking Ahead Through 2026

‘The Girl with Raven Hair’ has left the nest, leaving a gaping hole in an author’s project folder. We wish her all the best, singing Yusuf Islam in her wake, but holes were made to be filled.

And how do we go about doing that, exactly? A book launch has a tendancy to leave quite the gap… and we’ve promised ourselves not to let the next Bieggafákt-novel, ‘Little Tyrants’, slip out of our grasp for at least another 18 months. What do.

First off; this summer, a new novel will be conjured. ‘The Laden Maiden’, the fourth novel in ‘the Bieggafákt Calendar’, will go into primary production, with the vain hope that a first draft will be finished by Septembre. That deadline will probably be missed, but “shoot for the stars” and all that.

Secondly; come autumn, J.P.S. Publishing hopes to attend TrollCon in Trollhättan again, bringing ‘The Girl with Raven Hair’ along with ‘the Patchwork Sovereignty’ and ‘The Last Box’.

Thirdly… we don’t know… do all good things need to come in threes? It’s only late April – let’s save one for later this year, yeah? I’m sure something will come along in due time to tidy 2026 over. Until then, we hope you have a rivetting read – the kind where pages get torn and covers are worn – and that your nightstands always remain cluttered with storytelling.
